Would be good if someone could try replicating this in Illustrator CC 23.0. I can view results in outline mode and the pats are not aligned along any curved edges. Straight lines seem to line up OK but on curves it's just that tiny but out that it leaves a load of messy edges when you zoom in. Never had this problem before, it's like something has changed and it's not 100% accurate since latest CC update.
I should add that doing intersects like this is part of my workflow for how I illustrate and I use this loads, it's not that I'm trying it for the first time or something.
