Then the NAS would be somewhere, and the shield would be near their TV. So with setting up the HDHomeRun with a NAS and a shield - I assume the HDHomeRun would just be plugged into the router?
I just did a look through all of their common recordings and it looks like the only one with an issue is FX (They love What We Do In The Shadows) For the one or two things that are copy once they can just finish those on the WMC machine Oh good, renaming is easy enough, can just do a batch file for that. I also want them to have it to back up files (My parents need certain files for their jobs that they need to back up to somewhere that isn't a flash drive, and now is as good a time as any) Yeah, my parents have around ~1.5 TB of stuff on their WMC machine because they like to have stuff to watch whenever. I mean I like Linux, but getting a pi and setting it up and having to maintain it seems like a bit of a pain.
